What We Believe
Our practice is rooted in the truths of Scripture and the transforming power of Jesus Christ. We believe that emotional, relational, and spiritual healing begins with God and is guided by His wisdom, grace, and Truth.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. It is the foundation for truth, guidance, and wisdom in all areas of life, including emotional and relational well-being.God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is loving, just, faithful, and deeply involved in the lives of His people.Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He offers forgiveness, healing, and hope to all who trust in Him.The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is present and active, guiding believers into truth, empowering them for growth, and bringing comfort and conviction. In counseling, we rely on the Spirit’s wisdom and presence to bring clarity and peace.Human Worth and Brokenness
We believe every person is created in the image of God and holds inherent worth and dignity. At the same time, all have been impacted by sin, leading to emotional pain, relational brokenness, and spiritual separation from God.Healing and Redemption
We believe that true healing comes through God’s redemptive work in Jesus Christ. While professional tools and therapeutic methods are valuable, lasting transformation flows from God’s grace, truth, and presence. We do not believe that having a mental illness means you have poor spiritual discipline or lack trust in God. Furthermore, we believe statements like “you just need to pray more” and “you’d be healed if you really believed” are unhelpful, shaming, and potentially damaging. The Role of the Counselor
As Christian counselors, we seek to walk alongside individuals with compassion, wisdom, and humility—integrating biblical truth with psychological principles to promote healing, growth, and restoration. The Church and Community
We believe in the importance of the local church and Christian community as places of belonging, accountability, support, and spiritual growth. Counseling is one part of God's holistic plan for healing within the body of Christ.Hope for the Future
We believe in the return of Jesus Christ and the promise of eternal life for all who trust in Him. This hope shapes how we view suffering, healing, and the ultimate purpose of our lives.
